A little reminder

This comes from a calendar of inspirational messages one of my coworkers gave me:

Without a source to refill our lives,
giving will quickly drain our reservoirs
of strength, caring, patience, and kindness.
We must make time to do those things
which renew our inner strength. Daily
walks, reading, and spending time with
friends and family can help us to revitalize.
Most importantly, we need to spend
time with the one Source who can supply
our every need -- God, our Father.

Amen! Daily rejuvenation with the Lord is critical. Life has a way of sometimes knocking the wind out of you and pushing you down when you were already standing on unleavened grounds. But God in his inconceivable love and compassion for us gladly restores us day by day if we only yield to His simple call of spending time with Him. Time.

Time. When you love someone you spend time with them. When a someone is grieving, you spend time with them. When someone needs counsel, you spend time with them. When a friend needs help, you spend time with them. Spending quality time with someone can be a greatest display of affection, concern, adoration, and love. That's all our Heavenly Father desires...our affection, concern, adoration, and love. And He longs to give that right back in return...on a daily basis!

Thank You God for wanting to spend time with me!
